LASU WORKERS SHUT OFFICES - see why


On wednesday, the Lagos State University's staffs shut all offices in an attempt to disrupt every lectures and academic activities.

Apart from the workplace of the VC, the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), who have been on strike since last May; closed all activitiesin the school.

identifying with columnists, Mr. Saheed Oseni, LASU-SSANU Chairman,affirmed that the college powers had neglected to address the needs the union.

Speakng to SSANU, Oseni pointed that the shutdown was vital, particularly as "they had a few uncertainly settled issues with the powers."

He further pointed that "The powers have not been reasonable to us and this clarifies why we can't suspend the strike. Of imperativeness to us is that the college gathering has neglected to purpose the advancement issue we raised with the administration in excess of one year now.
