3 CHILDREN KILLED GRAND MOTHER THROUGH WITCHCRAFT


In Ebebit commu­nity of Ekim/Uyi Clan in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State, three kids confessed that they murdered their grand mother through witch craft activities. 

Their admissions gen­erated pressure in the territory as some distressed young people just lynched those men­tioned by the kids yet for the intercession of the vil­lage head, Chief Okon Asu­quo Asuquo. 

An onlooker told Daily Sun that the air pocket blast fol­lowing an announcement from one of the kids, who blamed his two siblings for murdering the elderly lady actually when he exhorted against it as they would not have any­body to bolster them any longer.

"Everything began in the early hours of Saturday, June 7, 2014. One of the three thousand kids, Edem woke up and was said to be ravenous and he then called the other two and asked them that now that he was eager, who would he yell to.

"He let them know that this was one of the reasons he ad­vised that their amazing mother ought not be executed yet they declined to hear him out. For that, he said he was going to open the matter to other relatives, which he did," the witness said.

The source said the mat­ter was accounted for to the vil­lage head, Chief Okon Asuquo , who later welcomed the youngsters to his home for examination, including that at the gathering, the kids related how they murdered their grandma and that one of their uncles, Nathan­iel and their close relative, Arit, had been penciled down for kill­ing. In view of their admission, Chief Asuquo was said to have urged them to come back to their coven and salvage their uncle and aunt.
