17-year-old boy stabbs sister for dating a man she dislike.

A 17-year-old boy in Apapa area of Lagos State, stabbed his elder sister for dating a man he dislike. The teenager, identified as Francis, was said to have warned his elder sister, Mary, to stop whatever relationship she had with the man simply named Isiaka.

The minor's friend, Charles, told LEADERSHIP that his friend was not happy since he suspected that Isiaka was dating his elder sister, Mary. Charles said Isiaka did not do anything wrong to Francis, stressing that Francis hated Isiaka with passion.

Charles disclosed that Mary did not take her brother serious until Apr. 25 when he confronted her with same issue.

He said Mary shunned her brother, warning him not to interfere with her relationship with Isiaka. Mary also threatened to report the matter to their father when he comes back from work. She also told Francis that she would marry Isiaka whether he liked it or not. This statement provoked Francis who gave his sister a blow across the lips and she bled.

Mary reportedly held unto Francis and he in turn broke one empty bottle of beer and stabbed her before escaping from the scene.

The injured Mary was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
